Modernizing Curatio Foundation’s website and consultant systems, preserving institutional content and connecting expert profiles with opportunities.

{ Business outcomes }
Administrators can search and filter the consultant directory by professional and regional criteria.
Consultants can update their profiles and CVs directly rather than relying on a separate file handoff.
Opportunities, applications, and AI-assisted information review are brought into the same consultant platform.
The public website work preserves the foundation’s content and restores a maintainable publishing base.
{ Context }
Curatio needed to keep its institutional website and consultant information useful while moving beyond an aging technical foundation. Maintaining existing content, project archives, and expert records mattered as much as introducing new tools. The work connected two needs: restoring everyday website maintainability and developing a more structured way to manage a consultant network.
{ Role & implementation }
My work covered WordPress remediation and content migration, server and PHP maintenance, and the consultant system’s data and application workflows. I carried existing information forward while developing a clearer structure for consultant profiles, directory search, opportunities, and administrative review.
{ The solution }
The public website work focused on preserving the main domain and institutional content while restoring a practical publishing and maintenance workflow. Curatio Consultants Center extends the consultant system into a dedicated web application: consultants maintain profiles and CVs, administrators search and filter the directory, and opportunities connect applicants with a structured review process.
{ Technical decisions }
The public website and consultant application serve different purposes, so they use different foundations. WordPress supports institutional publishing. Next.js and Firebase support authenticated profiles, structured consultant data, file storage, and opportunity workflows. Existing records are carried forward rather than requiring the network to start again. AI supports extraction and matching while administrators remain responsible for selection decisions.

Content migration and ongoing updates retain the foundation’s news, projects, publications, and team information. The goal is a website the team can continue to maintain without discarding its history.
{ Engineering detail }
The consultant directory combines profile information with search and filters for country of residence, profession, languages, and sector experience. Administrators can review CV documents directly, while consultants update their own professional details and CVs.

Administrators manage opportunities and applications. Consultants can discover projects and apply, while public opportunity pages provide an entry point for external candidates without an existing account.

Genkit flows with Gemini 2.5 Flash support CV information extraction, opportunity drafting, and consultant matching. These capabilities provide review inputs; they do not replace the administrator’s responsibility for evaluating candidates.

The platform includes analytics views across regions, sectors, and consultant engagement, alongside Resend notifications for transactional messages and wider opportunity communication.
